This course is for those who are completely new to Norwegian and want to learn the language for everyday life, work, studies, or further stay in Norway. It provides a solid foundation in spoken communication, grammar, and vocabulary – all in a supportive environment with experienced teachers.

The instruction is based on Karense’s method and approach – with a focus on confidence, progress, and practical language development in the classroom.

👩‍🏫 Maria is an enthusiastic Norwegian teacher with a master’s degree in Norwegian and English from the University of Oslo, as well as a specialization in Norwegian as a second language. She has experience in adult education, workplace language courses, upper secondary school, and private tutoring.

Maria teaches levels A1–B2, focusing on grammar, communication, and pronunciation. She is known for being organized, positive, and solution-oriented, creating a safe and motivating learning environment for her students.
