Note A1 – Norwegian for adult immigrants (Textbook + Workbook)

NoTe Textbook A1

The textbook follows a full year - from January to December - where each month has its own chapter. Through narrative texts, dialogues, and practical texts, students encounter the language as it is used in everyday life in Norway.

The textbook contains:

• An introductory chapter with the alphabet, numbers, useful expressions, and basic grammar.
• 12 chapters with texts about daily life, work, leisure, and different life situations.
• Introduction to professions and working life in Norway. A total of 24 different occupations spread across 12 chapters.
• “Busy pictures” in each chapter for practicing oral and written description. The tasks are similar to those students meet in the Norwegian A1–A2 exam.
• Many images and illustrations that support understanding and learning.
• Steady progression from simple to more advanced texts.

NoTe Workbook A1

The workbook follows the same chapters as the textbook and provides thorough training in reading, writing, grammar, and spoken Norwegian.

In the workbook you will find:

• 3-5 varied written exercises for each text.
• 2-3 grammar sections per chapter with theory and exercises.
• QR codes with links to relevant videos from Norsklærer Karense related to the grammar sections in the workbook.
• One reading exercise in each chapter similar to the Norwegian A1-A2 exam.
• Tasks based on the “busy pictures” - both oral and written.
• Summary tasks for revision and mastery.
• Images and illustrations that support learning.

Right of Withdrawal and Returns

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for books purchased from our online store. The withdrawal period starts from the day you receive the books.

If you wish to return the books, you must notify us within 14 days and send the items back. The books should be returned in the same condition as when received. Return shipping costs are covered by the customer.
