Welcome to Karense’s online school NoTe Norwegian Teaching – with online courses for all levels. Our Norwegian course prepares you for the Norwegian exam and the Bergen test, and is approved by UDI and Kompetanse Norge. The online courses are held by competent teachers who have Norwegian as their mother tongue, and who have long experiences teaching Norwegian in various ways.
Online course flexibility
Our courses are online and thus very flexible. Study when and where you want! The courses are suitable for people in all life situations, whether you are busy and working a lot, are at home or studying. We recommend 2-3 hours of work each day to get the most out of the courses.
We have courses at levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1. Whether you don’t speak a word of Norwegian or already at an advanced level and wish to further develop this your language: We have courses for you.
We also have the specialized courses for potential and current workers in the health sector and kindergarten. In addition, we have conversation training if you want to improve in oral Norwegian. We also offer a 50-hours social science course in Norwegian, Arabic and English.
Good teachers and quality courses
Our online school was started in 2015. Karense has used her experience from over 15 years as a Norwegian teacher to design Norwegian courses that produce results. Today our online school has a whole team of qualified Norwegian teachers who guide and advise our students. In addition to the online courses, you can take advantage of our free resources, including Karense’s YouTube videos, podcasts, voice messages, Instagram account and Facebook group.

Courses with personal guidance
Online courses in Norwegian contain reading, listening, writing assignments, and voice recordings. Written assignments that are submitted are read, corrected and evaluated by our teachers. Through these correction and personalized feedback our teachers advise you on how to further improve your language. Read more about each course to see what’s included or send us an email.
Each course includes 1 hour conversation per month with one of our teachers. These lessons can be used for conversation training, where you can improve your pronunciation and become better at speaking Norwegian, not just writing and reading. You can also use the hour to go through grammar or even prepare for a job interview, for example. After each hour you will receive a document with things you have learned, words you need to practice and links to useful resources for you.
English courses at all levels
NoTe also offers English courses at all levels, as well as business English. We have online courses ranging from 1- 6 months, from levels A1 to B1. If you want a higher level after completing the course, you can book hours with our teacher.
The English courses are not only suitable for those who want to learn English, but also for those who need to improve English for TOEFL test or IELTS test to get admitted to universities abroad. Our English teacher is from the US and lives in Norway.
