Online courses for Norwegian language and social studies tests
We offer flexible online Norwegian courses from levels A1 to C1, as well as courses in social studies. Our school is approved by HK-dir (formerly Kompetanse Norge) and follows the regulations set by UDI.
Preparation for exams
Our courses are designed to provide you with the preparation you need for the Norwegian language test and the social studies test. These tests are part of the documentation requirements when applying for permanent residence or Norwegian citizenship. With us, you receive close support, feedback on submitted assignments, and the opportunity for personal guidance from a teacher.

Approved by HK-dir and UDI
We have been an approved school by HK-dir (formerly Kompetanse Norge) and UDI since 2015. Our approval is valid until 31 December 2028, and we will be approved again after that. Private schools can only be approved for a maximum of three years at a time. You can find us listed among the approved providers under “Approved providers of Norwegian language and social studies courses” here.
Requirements for obtaining Norwegian citizenship
UDI has different requirements for citizenship depending on the applicant. You must now pass the oral Norwegian test at B1 level and take either the citizenship test or the social studies test in Norwegian in order to obtain citizenship. Online Norwegian courses
We are approved by HK-dir to provide online Norwegian language training and social studies courses. In addition, we are also approved to offer in-person courses. Our courses are flexible, allowing you to study whenever it suits you.

Social studies course
The purpose of the course is to give students a thorough introduction to Norwegian society, the Norwegian political system, and the Norwegian way of life, as well as the rights and responsibilities of every Norwegian citizen. The course covers various topics defined in the curriculum for Norwegian language and social studies for adult immigrants.
We have developed our very own online social studies course, which we are very proud of. The course is interactive and takes you on a journey through each chapter. The material is presented in smaller sections at a time, making it easier to complete. Each chapter includes short tests that you must pass in order to continue.
