Description
Course Package for Permanent Residency in Norway:
Online courses are an effective way to learn and complete the required 300 hours of Norwegian and 50 hours of social studies. The general requirements are 300 hours of Norwegian and 50 hours of social studies, but it is important to always double-check with UDI to confirm the specific requirements for you, as these may vary.
You can take both courses simultaneously or separately. The sessions with the teacher are mandatory. There is one hour per month for Norwegian and a total of 3.5 hours of tutoring for social studies. The tutoring sessions with the teacher are flexible and can be scheduled during the day, in the evening, or on weekends.
This package includes two courses:
1. Min Vei A1-B1 (7 months).
Min Vei is a comprehensive course that includes exercises in grammar, reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Seven hours of tutoring with a Norwegian teacher are included. For Norwegian courses, UDI approves a maximum of 12 hours per week and 48 hours per month. A minimum course duration of 7 months is required to fulfill the 300-hour requirement.
We also offer group classes at the A1, A2, and B1 levels, with 2 hours of daytime and 2 hours of evening lessons per level each week. Participation is optional, providing an excellent opportunity for those who wish to improve their Norwegian skills.
2. Social Studies Couse (1-3 months)
You will complete 7 assignments, one for each chapter in the course, and have a 30-minute tutoring session for each chapter with your teacher. You can take the course in either Norwegian or English. These two courses are in accordance with UDI regulations for skilled workers in Norway. The earliest you can complete the social studies course is 1 month after the start date, but you can also take up to 3 months if needed. All assignments and sessions with your tutor must be completed within this timeframe.
All our courses are time bound.
When you take a course with us, it is for a limited period. The start date and end date for the course are clearly stated in the email you receive when you gain access to the course. For the permanent residency package, most students choose to take the Norwegian course first and the social studies course afterwards, but you can also take the courses simultaneously if you prefer.
Both courses must be completed within 1 year from the start date of the first course.
You cannot use the course after the end date, but you can extend your access by purchasing additional months. If you renew the course, all your results will be saved, and you can continue from where you left off. If you do not use the course during the course period, it cannot be reopened later, as the course period will have ended. You will need to purchase a new course to regain access. We cannot pause the course if you are sick, going on holiday, or are busy with work or other commitments. This means that the course period cannot be paused once it has started.
